Since 1972, Stilmec has been offering milling and boring machining using modern machines with large working ranges (up to 12 mt), continuous positioning heads for machining at any angle in space, and extension snouts that, replaced by the heads, perform machining in depth. Machines equipped with TNC-controlled rotary tables enable workpieces to be machined by reducing the number of placements and optimizing machining times. With special measuring tools, tools can be preset and loaded directly onto machines equipped with automatic tool changers. It also has a certified measuring instrument to calibrate the different measuring tools used to check machining operations, guaranteeing compliance with tight dimensional tolerances on mechanical parts. It interfaces with customers’ technical departments to ensure exact correspondence between the design and the manufactured part. It counts among its customers leading companies in sheet metal forming machines, mechanical and hydraulic presses, robotic islands, machines for plastics, tools and wood, gearboxes and multipliers.
